Sanju Samson To Play For CSK In IPL 2025? RR Fans Laugh Off Social Media Gossip Of Trade Deal

IPL 2025: The latest noise on social media by fanclubs is that CSK are keen on having Sanju Samson in their side.

There could be several changes in place in the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). So far, news of several big IPL stars joining different teams has emerged and now another big claim is being made by a report. It is being learnt that Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson could play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) next season.

However the latest noise on social media by fanclubs is that CSK are keen on having Sanju Samson in their side. It is further being said that while Chennai have been keen on having Samson in their side for quite some time now, they can now get the wicketkeeper-batter on board in the trade window itself before the auction.

Meanwhile, if it is a trade, there is expected to be barter between the two sides with RR having asked for CSK's Shivam Dube in return. From what is being said on on social media, RR are not interested in an all-cash deal with CSK. This is one of the reasons they are expecting the CSK all-rounder in return for letting go of their captain Samson. RR loyalists, however, have laughed off this theory

.

It is pertinent to note, however, that all trade news so far and reports of players leaving their side or teams saving crores to spend on a particular player, have not been confirmed by the franchises themselves and mostly are speculative in nature.

Ahead of IPL 2025, there is going to be a mega-auction. As per the existing norm, teams were given four retentions. However, IPL can introduce a new rule which allows franchises to retain six players. Having said that, the IPL Governing Council has not yet made that official so far.
