During his explosive innings, the SRH star smashed six sixes, registering himself into the record books as the first Indian player to hit 40 or more sixes in a single season of Indian Premier League (IPL).


The 23-year-old sensation surpassed Virat Kohli's record for most sixes by an Indian cricketer in a single IPL season. Kohli had previously smashed 38 sixes while amassing 973 runs in IPL 2016.
