Hardik Pandya removes KL Rahul. The LSG skipper tried to hit it out of the park but only manages to get height on that one and Mohammad Nabi takes a good catch. Pandya falls for 28 off 22. MI- 59/2 after 7.2 Overs.
Coetzee has replaced Bumrah in the MI bowling attack. Slow start for LSG but they can afford to take time, it's that kind of a total. But we will get a much better idea regarding what kind of surface this is once this innings progresses further.
Marcus Stoinis joins KL Rahul in the middle. Jasprit Bumrah sharing the new ball with Nuwan Thushara.

Will 144 be enough though? We shall find out when the run-chase begins. LSG were clincial on the field and Mohsin Khan finished with 2/36 while Naveen-ul-Haq, Marcus Stoinis, Ravi Bishnoi and Mayank Yadav have picked a wicket each.

11 runs, 1 wicket off the over with David smashing a SIX and a FOUR off successive deliveries.
And Mohsin Khan has got rid of the Wadhera who falls after a 41-ball 46 that has improved MI's position. But they would have wanted him to go deeper in the innings. MI-112/6 after 17.1 overs.
26 Runs off the last 2 overs. Wadhera smashes two sixes and a four OFF Yadav to make it 16 runs off the 15th over before 10 runs off the 16th over with the aid of another boundary from Wadhera. There is still for MI but 150 still some distance away. MI- 106/5 after 16 overs.

Two left-handers in the middle. Tilak Varma joins Kishan.
Big wicket for LSG. It's not the best of balls from Stoinis as it's drifting down the leg side, on a shorter length and the umpire gives it wide. But LSG review and as it turns out, SKY had hit it on the way to the keeper. Suryakumar falls for 10 off 6. LSG- 18/2 after 2.4 Overs.
The first six of the evening and it's come off the blade of Suryakumar Yadav. It's short and SKY picks the length early and pulls it for a six over square leg.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the LSG vs MI IPL 2024 fixture. It promises to be an exciting contest, coming your way from Lucknow's Ekana Stadium.
Background
LSG vs MI Live Score, IPL 2024: Good evening and welcome everybody to our live coverage of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Mumbai Indians (MI) clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow. Even though both the teams find themselves in the second half of the IPL 2024 points table there is a lot of difference in the sense that Lucknow are ahead in the race to the Playoffs.
IPL 2024 LSG vs MI Live Score, Lucknow Super Giants vs Mumbai Indians: LSG have won 5 matches and lost 4 in the 9 matches that they have played so far and consequently find themselves at the fifth place on the points table, MI with three wins from their 9 matches occupy the ninth place on the table. One more defeat for MI would mean that their chances of qualifying for the Playoffs depend other teams, considering they go on to win other games which is not a good position to be in.
So a desperate MI will take on LSG at a venue which is not that high-scoring. This is one of those venues where under 200-run matches have produced good contests and Lucknow have had the chance of having a closer look at it and will now look to use the experience to beat MI. In a major boost to LSG, Mayank Yadav is likely to be available for selection for this match. It will be interesting to see him run up against the likes of Rohit Sharma.
On the other hand, Mumbai can look to add a slow-ball bowler to their mix, if the pitch remains on the slower side. However, there is no hint about the same from the management or the captain. This will also be the first IPL match post the T20 World Cup 2024 squad announcement and LSG captain KL Rahul has been overlooked for a place in that side. It will be a chance for him to make a statement with the bat.
