India's U-19 captain, Yash Dhull has caught everybody's attention after scoring a match-winning century in the semi-final of the ongoing U19 World Cup against Australia. Veteran Aussie spinner Brad Hogg said that IPL franchises "will show interest" in the young man in the coming Auction for the 2022 season.
The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction will take place on February 12 and 13.
Yash Dhull, the Indian skipper has been in prime form in this year's U-19 WC. He has 264 runs so far in seven matches played with a strike rate of 87.7 and an average of 52.8. "Yash Dhull has a unique array of shots. Will be a tough customer to contend with in the future. IPL auction in a week, he will be sort after. Bargain hunters like the @rajasthanroyals will show interest. looking forward to this fella getting an opportunity," Hogg tweeted.
