IPL 2025 Points Table: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by a comprehensive 80 run margin in the 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on April 3 (Thursday) at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. With the defeat, the Pat Cummins-led SRH suffered their third consecutive defeat in the edition.
SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first. The hosts suffered an early setback as openers Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine were dismissed within the first three overs. However, Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi steadied the innings with a solid 81-run partnership. The momentum dipped momentarily in the middle overs, but Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh provided a late flourish, smashing 78 runs in the final five overs to power KKR to a commanding total of 200/6.
