LSG Vs KKR, IPL 2024: It was a one-way traffic tonight in Match 54 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as Kolkata Night Riders continue their dominance in this season's IPL, as they go on top of the table with a dominating 98-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants. The match at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow was expected to be an even affair for both the sides, as they were coming off impressive wins against Mumbai Indians and once KL Rahul (LSG skipper) opted to bowl first, it seemed like a good decision, but KKR did their part and are now all but qualified for the play-offs this season.

LSG Vs KKR IPL 2024 Match At A Glance
The opening pair of Phil Salt and Sunil Narine did the damage in the powerplay itself as they plundered runs at a brilliant strike rate and by the time Phil Salt departed, the damage was already done. Sunil Narine carried on the rampage and struck a brilliant 81 off 39, before cameos from Ramandeep Singh and rest of the middle order surged the KKR's total to 235/6 at the end of 20 overs.
In reply, the LSG batters got off to a good start but as soon as skipper KL Rahul departed, it was a downhill journey for the home side as rest of the batters failed to show endurance on the pitch, and KKR bowlers bowled extremely well to seal a memorable win and register 16 points for the season.
Sunil Narine was the pick of the players, as the KKR legend not only scored the most runs, fours, and sixes in the match, but also managed to register the best economical spell of the match as well, with the figures reading 1/22 off his 4 overs.
Up next for KKR will be a match at home against Mumbai Indians and the Shreyas Iyer-led side will be looking to seal a Top 2 finish for this season.
