IPL 2024: The IPL 2024 has been a good one for the Lucknow Super Giants so far, as the KL Rahul-led side are in the Top 4, with 3 wins and a loss in their four fixtures so far, but what has impressed the fans the most is not their world-class batting, but their impressive bowling, which has produced hidden gems such as Yash Thakur and especially, the new pace sensation of India, "Yadav Express", Mayank Yadav.
LSG have always defended the 160+ total throughout their IPL career, and with the comprehensive defeat of Gujarat Titans, the streak now stands at 13-nil, and their recent video, consisting of captain KL Rahul and famous Indian content creator is making waves all over the social media, and, as seen in the video, the creator has hilariously commented to make KL Rahul as the "Next Defence Minister Of India".

KL Rahul's Views And Comments On Lucknow Super Giants' Impressive Unbeaten Run Of Defending 160+ Total
Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul was delighted with his side's victory over the Gujarat Titans in their latest IPL 2024 fixture and had the following to say in the post-match presentation ceremony.
"We'll take the win, I am not going to make too much out of it. I think for the young bowling group that we have, it helps when we bat first and they get a bit of an idea of how the wicket's playing and they've also been adapting really well," said KL Rahul.
Speaking on the unique record of successfully defending 160+ totals, the LSG skipper said the following:
"Yeah, it's a good record to have, obviously. But I also think it's because of where we've played and the conditions. Last time we played here in Lucknow, the wickets were very low-scoring, and it's a low-scoring ground. So, we defended quite well there. Having that home advantage obviously helps a little bit. And yes, I mean, the bowlers have come through the ranks in the last couple of years. You've seen the same guys playing last season as well, and they've adjusted to their roles. They're reading the wickets really well"
"That's something that I try to discuss with them a lot more off the field and even during practice. The three spinners have performed excellently. Sid opens the bowling and provides steady performances, often restricting the batters. KP, with his vast IPL experience, adds value, and Bishnoi keeps improving. It's satisfying to start well against such strong opponents," he added.
