IPL Opening Ceremony LIVE Updates: The 2023 season of Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick-off on Friday (March 31) with a match between MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. There will be a Drones light show for IPL 2023 opening ceremony. The sensory experience is all set to dazzle audiences. Megastars of Indian film industry, Rashmika Mandhana and Tamannaah Bhatia, will mesmerise the fans ahead of IPL 2023 tournament opener between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Arijit Singh, Tiger Shroff and Katrina Kaif are also among the celebrities who will perform in the glitzy IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony. The event will reportedly have members of the BCCI and former cricketers in attendance as well.

The IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony will start at 6 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network. The live streaming of IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony will be available on Jio Cinema.

CSK vs GT IPL match - FUN FACT: From IPL 2008 to 2022, five times in all 15 seasons of this T20 league, the team that played the opening match has won the title. That is, only one-third of the trophy has been won by the team that competes in the opening match of IPL. Out of these 5 trophies, three IPL finals were won by the side that won the opening match of the tournament and two IPL finals were won by the team that lost the IPL opening match.
