RCB Retain Virat Kohli & Glenn Maxwell, Yuzi Chahal, Jamieson Among The Ones Dropped: Report
RCB Retained Player, IPL: AB De Villiers recently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, thus his name has also not been included in the retained players list.
The deadline to submit the final list of retained players for Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises has ended at 12 pm on Tuesday. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has decided to retain their marquee players Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell ahead of the mega auction of the IPL, reported ESPNCricinfo.
Many pundits expected that Yuzvendra Chahal would also be retained by RCB, but that isn't the case. AB De Villiers recently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, thus his name has also not been included in the retained players list.
Glenn Maxwell displayed good batting form last season for RCB and thus, he has retained his place in the side.
All of us are probably not going to be together at RCB again next season, such is the challenge the auction throws at us, but we will always be a family and cherish the fond memories. ❤️
