Match 21 in the round robin stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 13 will witness Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a few hours from now at Abu Dhabi (UAE).

While Dhoni-led CSK head into the game high on confidence after thumping Kings Eleven Punjab (KXIP) by 10 wickets, Karthik-skippered KKR fell 18-runs short while chasing down a daunting target set by Delhi Capitals (DC) against them in their previous encounter.

Despite their recent loss against MI, KKR are well placed in the points table at the fourth spot on the back of two wins and the same number of losses. Meanwhile, CSK have a bit of catching up to do as they are still languish in the bottom half of the table at four points with three losses in five matches.

3-time champions CSK do hold the edge over KKR in their previous IPL encounters with a 14-8 win record in the 23 games between the franchises. The clash between the two sides at Abu Dhabi later in the evening will be their first ever match in the UAE.

So will the slightly derailed KKR be able to fend off a stiff challenge from a resurgent Chennai Super Kings who seem to have got back to winnings ways after a dominant victory against KXIP?. An interesting encounter between the Knights and Super Kings is up for the taking at Abu Dhabi a few hours from now.
