DC vs LSG Highlights, IPL 2024: Ishant Sharma (3/34) was the pick of the bowler for DC as Delhi beat Lucknow in their last league game.

DC vs LSG Highlights, IPL 2024: Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 19 runs in match number 64 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. After being asked to bat first, DC posted 208/4 in their 20 overs, thanks to blistering half-centuries from Abishek Porel (58 off 33) and Tristan Stubbs (57* off 25).

In response, Lucknow Super Giants lost four wickets inside the powerplay and left themselves too much to do in the end, losing the match by 19 runs. Arshad Khan (58* off 33) registered his highest-ever T20 score towards the end but only managed to reduce the margin of their defeat. This was Delhi's last match in the league stage and finish with 14 points. LSG may have a game remaining but can only reach a maximum of 14 points after this result.

DC vs LSG, IPL 2024: Ishant Sharma Pick Of The Bowlers For Delhi Capitals

Ishant Sharma was the pick of the bowlers for DC and scalped 3 wickets in his first spell with the new ball which pretty much set the tone in DC's defence of 208. The right-arm fast bowler eventually finished with figures of 3/34. Axar Patel, Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and Stubbs chipped in with a wicket each while Jake Fraser-McGurk affected a direct-hit run out.

The win has kept DC's Playoffs hopes alive but they need to hope that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) lose both their remaining matches by a margin of over 100 runs in order to proceed to the Playoffs. Delhi's win, however, also means Rajasthan Royals (RR) now have a guaranteed place in the IPL 2024 Playoffs with 16 points.
