IPL 2021, SRH vs PBKS: Hyderabad, Punjab Face Off In Sharjah After Crushing Defeat In Previous Game
Punjab and Hyderabad, both have lost in their respective last matches, so for today's game they might make some changes in their playing XI.
New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are on the verge of getting knocked out of the playoffs race, will lock horns with KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Phase 2 match on Saturday.
Both teams faced defeat in their last match. Since Hyderabad is on the verge of getting knocked out of the tournament, the only thing they can try is to spoil the equations of other teams. On Wednesday, Sunrisers lost to Delhi Capitals which is their seventh loss in eight IPL matches. The Orange Army currently has only two points and is placed at the bottom of IPL Points Table.
Punjab Kings, on the other hand, are desperate for a win. Their victory seemed certain in their last match against Rajasthan Royals, but RR's young speedster Kartik Tayagi bowled a sensational 20th over to defend just 4 runs in his last over and snatch win from the jaws of Punjab.
However, Punjab needs to forget the past and get over this. Punjab have six points from nine matches and are in seventh place in IPL 14 Points Table. Punjab and Hyderabad have lost in their respective last matches, so for today's game both the teams might make some changes.
