New Delhi: The second match of double-header Tuesday in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Phase 2 will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. MI vs PBKS IPL 2021 match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.


So far in IPL 2021, both Mumbai and Punjab have played 10 games and have won four games each. It will be very important for Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings to win today's match and better their chances of making it to the playoffs.


Defending champion Mumbai Indians are yet to win their first game in the UAE leg of the tournament so far. On the other hand, Punjab Kings successfully defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous match, which has definitely boosted their confidence.


The biggest problem for Mumbai Indians is their star players - Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya - not being able to deliver. Their batting lineup pf Mumbai Indians is considered to be one of the strongest among all the teams but IPL 2021 phase 2, all the batsmen except captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock have struggled to score runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have only scored 16 and 34 respectively in their last three matches. Hard-hitters Pollard and Krunal Pandya have been unable to make valuable contributions with quick-fire knocks.
