'Play For Another Country': Sanju Samson's Fans Get Angry After Star Gets Benched For Series Opener Vs Ireland
Team India not including Sanju Samson in their playing XI against Ireland did not go down well with his fans who made sure to take a dig at BCCI on Twitter.
New Delhi: The first match of the T20 series between India and Ireland is being played in Dublin. Meanwhile, Team India not including senior batter Sanju Samson in their playing XI for the T20 match against Ireland angered some fans on Twitter who expressed their anger on social media. Sanju's fans trolled the BCCI along with Rishabh Pant. Team India will play the first match of the T20 series in Dublin. However, the start of this match has been delayed due to rain.
Team India has included Rituraj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav and Dinesh Karthik in their playing XI for the T20 match in Dublin but Sanju Samson has been benched. This did not go down well with Sanju's fans who made sure to take a dig at BCCI on Twitter.
Notably, Sanju did a great job in IPL 2022 both as a batter and captain of Rajasthan Royals (RR). The last time Sanju played a T20 match for India was in February 2022 and an ODI match in July 2021. Since then he has not got a chance to play for the national squad.

It's sad that Sanju Samson can't find a place in the 2nd X1 of the Indian team after showing his skill year after year in IPL.

You need to consult a psychiatrist If you still think BCCI doesn't play politics when it comes to include Sanju Samson #SanjuSamson pic.twitter.com/HStg6V7Ept

First he was dropped from India's squad even after performing well against SL earlier in the year and now selected but warming the bench so sad to see his talent getting wasted it's India's loss pic.twitter.com/2zEJqmFjtx
