Rishabh Pant Shares Images Of Him Walking With Crutches
Rishabh Pant has undergone multiple surgeries ever since his car accident last year and is currently in a process of recovery.
Team India's star wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant took to social media, Friday, to post his first pictures after undergoing another surgery in a process of recovery. In the viral pics, Pant can be seen walking with crutches. He survived a life-threatening car crash last year in December. Since then, the star player has undergone multiple surgeries and is currently on the road to full recovery. Pant captioned the pictures and wrote, “One step forward, one step stronger, One step better.”

Pant was travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand when his car collided with a divider near Roorkee. Although his car caught fire during the car crash, Pant was able to escape in time with help of some locals.
As per reports, the doctors treating Pant have predicted that the star player won't be able to make a comeback for over next few months, which means majority of 2023, including this year's IPL and ODI World Cup 2023 in India.
Rishabh Pant, India's most dependable and highest run-getter in Test cricket last year, will also miss the ongoing high-octane India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy. With 6 remarkable tons and 11 half-centuries to his name, Pant is one of the best wicketkeeper-batters India have ever produced.
His absence helped young KS Bharat make a dream Test debut against Australia on Thursday, February 10 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association in Nagpur.
Former India legend Kapil Dev said he wants to slap the left-hander as soon as he recovers from the injuries.
“I have a lot of love for him. I want him to recover so that I can go and slap him and tell him to look after himself. Because of your accident, the entire team is in tatters. I love him, but I am also angry at him. Why do such youngsters of today’s times make such mistakes? There should be a slap for it,” Kapil Dev said.
“First blessings, that he gets all the love in the world, may the almighty give him good health. First that, but after that, like parents have this responsibility to slap the children if they make mistakes,” he added.
