India outclass Bhutan 3-0 in SAFF U-15 opening game

New Delhi [India], December 17 (ANI): India convincingly beat Bhutan 3-0 in the opening match of the inaugural edition of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-15 Championship being held at the Mohammad Mostofa Kamal stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh today.

In a completely one-sided encounter, Kritina, Priyanka and Pratiksha scored in the 4th, 11th and 19th minute of the game respectively to thrash Bhutan's hopes of securing a win.

India scored the first goal quite early in the 4th minute with Kritina breaking the deadlock. What followed was a flurry of attacks with Priyanka doubling the lead in the 11th minute. Defender Pratiksha too etched her name on the score sheet after she piled on Bhutan's misery with her goal in the 19th minute.

After grabbing three points for the game,Indian women U 15 football team led by Bannaya Kabira will next face Nepal on December 19.(ANI)
