Lionel Messi's goal-scoring form continued for Inter Miami. The Argentine has been in sensational form, ever since he made his debut for the Major League Soccer (MLS) club and he added to his goal-scoring tally yet again with two strikes in the team's Leagues Cup fixture against Orlando City at the DRV PNK Stadium in Florida. While it is Messi's left foot which has done most of the scoring in his illustrious career, in this match fans were treated to a goal each from his left foot and right foot.

Messi's partnership with Robert Taylor is forming a lethal combination for Inter Miami and once again the two were influential in getting the team off to a lead. Inside the first ten minutes itself, Messi settled Taylor's lofted ball inside the box as he found the back of the net with his left foot.

Messi's first goal:

While Orlando did manage to come back into the match and equalise 10 minutes later with a goal from César Araujo eventually it was Messi and Inter Miami who had the last laugh with Messi scoring his fifth goal since joining the David Beckham co-owned side with a close-range shot to seal victory. This time around it was Martinez with the assist and given the class of Messi he doesn't miss too many of those.

Messi's second goal:

Josef Martinez, meanwhile, got to convert the penalty in between Messi's two goals early in the second half. In the end, Inter Miami emerged victorious 3-1.
