Real Madrid came from behind to beat Barcelona 2-1 in a thriller of a match, with Jude Bellingham scoring two stunning goals on his El Clasico debut Saturday. The sensational equaliser came in the 68th minute, as the England midfielder found the top corner from 30 yards out. His winner came in the 92nd minute. Soon after, 'He is him' started to trend on social media with the football world hailing the 20-year-old and cherishing his goals, especially the incredible leveller.

Ilkay Gundogan had given Barcelona an early lead by scoring a goal six minutes into the match. But it was Bellingham's day in the end, who did everything right and continued his amazing steak since coming to Real Madrid. The midfielder who earlier played for Birmingham City came to Real from Borussia Dortmund for 103m euros this summer, according to a BBC report. He has now 14 goals in 16 matches this season for club and country.

Playing for Real, Bellingham has scored 13 goals in as many appearances with three assists.

The win in the first El Clasico match puts Los Blancos at the top of La Liga, above Girona on goal difference, and four points ahead of Barcelona who are in the third place.

Today's match could have gone either way as Real had started slow and Barcelona was ahead until after half-time. They even got close to increasing the gap but Fermin Lopez struck the post.

Bellingham then emerged hero for Real Madrid as he scored the equaliser and then struck again in injury time to hand another win to his new club.

Here is a look at how social media reacted to his Saturday performance against Barca.
