La Liga giants Real Madrid have signed Jeremy De Leon from third tier Spanish league side CD Castellon to make him the first ever player from Puerto Rico to play for the great club. The player's signing was though announced on January 20 but was a subject to signing of documents which were finally completed on January 22 and the player will now ply his trade for the Real Madrid Castill side where he will be amongst the Los Blancos academy graduates and develop to rise up the ranks.

Jeremy De Leon Player Profile

Jeremy De Leon was born March 18, 2004, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rican player, who has now signed with the Real Madrid Castilla side, is a forward who is deployed on the wings and acts as a free floating speedster aiming to create spaces and gaps with his pacy and off-the-ball movement. Not much can be said about the dribbling part and the final third past as the forward has lacked goals this season and merely has a solitary assist in 11 appearances made for the side in the third tier Spanish League.

Real Madrid already boasts one of the deadliest wing-attack in the world with the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in the fold and with the purchase of Endrick, they are already looking like a side settled up front for the next 5-6 years and the purchase of De Leon is seen as an attempt to nurture him and add him as a backup option.
