Manchester United Vs Fulham Premier League 2023/24 Matchday 26 Fixture - Match Report
Manchester United hosted Fulham in their Premier League 2023/24 Matchday 26 Fixture on Saturday, February 24 and walked into the fixture with a five-match winning streak. The Red Devils were without the services of Rasmus Hojlund, who was on a six-game scoring streak, beofre being ruled out for 2-3 weeks.
The 20-time Premier League champions had a dull first half and Fulham looked threatening with their constant counter attacks and they did find their opening in the second half, when Nigerian centre-back Calvin Bassey scored with a thumping strike inside the box on the rebound, that ended in the roof of the net.
United pulled an equaliser in the dying minutes of the match as former captain Harry Maguire came to the rescue in the 89th minute. However, Adama Traore terrorised Red Devils with his pace and with merely few seconds of injury time remaining, he laid off the ball on the left side of the box for Alex Iwobi to score the winner, with Andre Onana being a mute spectator in goal, as he stood still when the ball went in.
