La Liga: Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is set to extend his stay at the Los Blancos, as reported by Italian journalist and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano. The news comes in as a big relief to the Los Blancos and the fans of Real Madrid as the 'German sniper' has by far been one of the best players in the history of Real Madrid and has been a one-third of the famous midfield trio consisting of him, Luka Modric, and Casemiro.
Casemiro left Real Madrid in 2022 and Luka Modric is on the verge of leaving the club as the Croatian legend has not renewed his contract with the club yet. Even though the duo of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have aged a lot, but their antics on-field showcase the fact that age is just a number and that they are ageing like fine wine.
The legendary German midfielder will reportedly sign a one-year extension of a deal, which will prove to be vital as, in case if Luka Modric departs, he will remain the only senior midfielder in the side and Los Blancos will be hoping for a senior figure to stay and pass the torch to the next generation of midfielders for Real Madrid, who are already looking scary to the oppositions, with the likes of Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga amongst the best young midfielders in the world.
