FIFA World Cup 2022: Here Are The Top Facts From Germany Vs Japan Clash

Japan became the first side to have two substitutes score in a single World Cup game against Germany.

In the match against Germany, substitutes helped Japan win the match by 2-1. Goals from Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano in the last 15 mins of play stunned four times champion Germany at the Khalifa International Stadium.

2. Youssoufa Moukoko (18y 3d) became the youngest ever player to appear for Germany in a World Cup game and the youngest player to appear at the tournament overall (for any side) since Femi Opabunmi for Nigeria against England in 2002 (17y 101d).
