The 23-year old will be joining the rivals of his former club, Fluminiense, where he made his name as an upcoming teen sensation with his scintillating performaces, both, domestically and continentally.

Luiz Enrique's Career In A Nutshell
Luiz Enrique first made a name for himself during 2020 where a then 19-year old Luiz Henrique was tormenting defences with his mesmerising dribbling on the left side of the pitch and every righ-back of the opposition incurred immense difficulty in marking and holding the Brazilian as his pace and neat dribbling ability was a treat to watch.
Slowly the Brazilian was risen up the ranks and showed his true potential during the 2021-22 season where his antics helped Fluminense immensely as the club ended its title drought by winning the Brazilian Serie A in 2022 and did fare well in the Copa Libertadores.
The Brazilian racked up 5 goals and 6 assists that season but what made him a highly valuable commodity was his sheer pace and dandalising off the ball runs to open up defences and that grabbed attention of top clubs in Europe and many did run after his signature but the Brazilian made a shocking move to Real Betis, keeping in mind the playing time he might get at other clubs in comparison with Betis.
However, the move turned out to be a nightmare as not only his stock fell miserably, his performances did too as after 18 months in Europe, with merely managed 4 goals and 10 assists and with Botafogo breaking club record transfer fee for him, the footballing world might me a rejuvenation of the once-called wonder kid.
