Bundesliga 2023/24: Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies has potentially severed his ties with his club, the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, after his agent, Huoseh, made serious allegations regarding contract negotiations with the Bavarians. The agent stated the reasons in a released statement on Thursday, March 28, which was reported by BILD.

“It’s unfair to receive an ultimatum from Bayern. We will decide how to proceed at the end of the season when there is more clarity. It's unfair that Alphonso is now being attacked. We were close to an agreement a year ago. Then the entire club management was replaced. We didn't hear anything for seven months. Although I tried during this time to contact the club myself,” said Huoseh.

“Now we are being given an ultimatum and are supposed to react within two weeks because the club is under pressure and took a long time to reposition itself in the management? That's not fair. It’s a very important contract in Alphonso's career and we're supposed to make the decision without knowing who the coach will be next season or what the team looks like. That's why we think it's unfair to react to the ultimatum,” added the agent.

Alphonso Davies Set To Move To Real Madrid Amidst Rift With Bayern Munich

Italian football journalist and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday, March 28, has reported that Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies will now not be renewing with the Bavarians and that Real Madrid are alerted of the situation and can pull the trigger, as the left-back has been on the radar of Los Blancos and manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The move is also vital for Real Madrid as they are in dire need of a world class left-back, as injuries have constantly hampered the growth of Ferland Mendy.
