Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net twice for Juventus in Italian soccer giants 2-1 win over Lazio on Monday and helped his club inch closer to yet another Serie A title. Ronaldo converted a penalty in the 51st minute on Monday for his record-setting tally, and added a second goal in his club's 2-1 win to reach the 30-goal mark for this season.It made the Portugal striker just the third player in the past six decades to reach the herculean milestone. Fiorentina’s Luca Toni had 31 in 2005-06 and Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain scored 36 times in 2015-16.

Ronaldo's double strike against Lazio was also his 50th goal for Juventus since joining them two years back. The Portuguese goal poacher achieved a record of sorts as he became the first player in history to surpass the 50-goal mark in three major soccer leagues around the world.
