Road Safety World Series Final was played between India Legends and Sri Lanka Legends in Raipur on Sunday. Yuvraj Singh played a key role in taking India’s score to a respectable total of 181. Yuvraj scored 60 runs in 41 balls with the help of four 4s and four 6s. He was also involved in an important partnership of 85 runs with Man of the Match, Yusuf Pathan. The partnership came when India’s score was 78-3 midway through the innings.

After the match, the 39-year old cricketer was injured in his right calf. Yuvraj shared a video on his Instagram where he is seen limping, yet dancing back to his hotel to a grand welcome by the hotel employees. He captioned the video ‘Broken Bahubali’ signifying his injury on the right leg. In the background of the video, a famous theme song from the movie ‘Baahubali’ is audible. Yuvraj is shaking his feet at the same song. Here is the video of the act:

Yuvraj Singh’s post had comments from his friends and cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Ishwar Pande. Pande wrote “Yuvi pa Legend” on the post. But Yuvraj Singh proved to be a true ‘Baahubali’ in this Road Safety Series for India. He scored two fifties and one score of 49 and was pick of the players for India Legends. In the field too, Yuvraj’s performance in the point region brought back memories of yesteryears when Yuvraj and Kaif used to be the two pillars of India’s fielding.

Nonetheless, it was a great win for India and Yuvraj Singh seems to be enjoying this moment. Recently, India’s ex-Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that Yuvraj should play in the IPL from next season.
