England fast bowler Jofra Archer was on Sunday ruled out of the 14-member squad for the ODI series against India due to an elbow injury.
Archer, who did not play the fourth Test against India due to his injury, will now go back to England and focus on his fitness.
The fast bowler played the T20 series against the Men in Blue after some relief. Archer, however, said after the fourth T20 that he did not want to take any risks with regard to his injury.
Archer plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He may now have to miss the initial games of the IPL due to injury.

He was adjudged the Player of the Tournament in last year’s IPL tournament courtesy his splendid performance.
England and India will lock horns in three ODI matches to be played on March 23, March 26 and March 28 in Maharashtra's Pune city.
Jake Ball, Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan, who were part of the T20 squad, will continue to be with the team.

The 14th season of IPL kicks off on April 9 with a clash between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB). Rajasthan Royals will play its first game against Punjab Kings on April 12.
