Stokes recounted a nerve-wracking incident that occurred during one of their auto rickshaw rides with Livingstone and England's strength and conditioning coach, Andy Mitchell. Their autorickshaw narrowly avoided a collision with a white car.
Stokes humorously explained,"So, me and Livi [Liam Livingstone] are pretty big lads, and we also had our strength and conditioning coach, Mitch [Andy Mitchell], who is even bigger than us. England's performance in the ODI World Cup 2023 has been less than stellar so far. They have managed just one victory in the four matches they've played. Stokes missed the first three games due to a hip issue. However, he made a comeback in England's most recent game against South Africa, though he couldn't perform at his best as England suffered a 229-run defeat.
On Thursday, October 26, England are set to face Sri Lanka at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This match is crucial as both teams have struggled in the tournament and have limited room for error. Meanwhile, Livingstone participated in the first three games but was left out for the match against South Africa.
