West Indies vs Pakistan 2nd Test match went in favour of the Asian team as Pak defeated WI by 109 runs. The victory sealed the series at 1-1. Two performances stood out for Pakistan in the match - Fawad Alam's first innings 100 and Shaheen Shah Afridi's 10-wicket haul.

On Day 5, West Indies came out to bat at the score of 49/1 with 280 still needed for victory. The West Indians were quite defensive from the start of Day 5, as if they had decided to play for a draw and not think of a victory. As it often happens, being extra defensive on the last day of the Test match costs the team. That's what happened with West Indies. The WI batsmen were unsure about the tactics as they kept on losing wickets despite their defensive approach.

Hasan Ali picked up the initial wickets on Day 5 ensuring that WI does not settle early on Day 5. They lost four wickets in the first session and were 113/5 at Lunch. Jason Holder and Kyle Mayers had a decent seventh-wicket partnership, but that could not stop the inevitable.

Match Summary:

Shaheen Shah Afridi ended with figures of 4-43 to add to career-best figures of 6-51 in the first innings, taking his tally to 10 wickets in the match. He ended with 18 wickets in this series and was named Man of the series. Nauman Ali, too, supported the quick bowlers and picked up three wickets with his left-arm orthodox bowling.

Fawad Alam was also a key performer in this match. He scored a century against West Indies in the 2nd Test match. This was his 5th century in 22 Test innings. His century helped Pakistan post a decent first innings total. He was a very close contender for the man of the match award.

The series ended with 1-1! Pakistan had won a 4-match T20I series by 1-0 as the rest matches were washed in the rain. With this, the Pakistan tour of the West Indies has ended.
