He ended with 18 wickets in this series and was named Man of the series. Nauman Ali, too, supported the quick bowlers and picked up three wickets with his left-arm orthodox bowling.
Fawad Alam was also a key performer in this match. He scored a century against West Indies in the 2nd Test match. This was his 5th century in 22 Test innings. His century helped Pakistan post a decent first innings total. He was a very close contender for the man of the match award.
