Kohli has been away from cricket since March in the Covid-19 hit calendar year. Recently, in a chat with AB de Villiers on Instagram in April, Kohli had said that he is never going to leave the franchise and will keep try his best to win the IPL trophy. "I can never think of leaving this team. To have that loyalty. Till I am playing IPL, I am never leaving this team. We know we both want to win a title," Kohli had said.
