WATCH: Kohli, Pant brutally trolled on Twitter for rapping for 'PIMPLES' in new ad
Twitterati are confused over this new ad. They brutally trolled Kohli and Pant for enacting a song based on PIMPLES
Days ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and young stumper Rishabh Pant teamed up to endorse a face care product. The makers released the new advertisement video on Thursday were both the cricketers could be seen rapping about the benefits of the product.
“Walking like a dude, feeling all cool, you've got the look, you're gonna rule,” Kohli could be seen lip syncing these words at the start of the jingle.
Both of them took to their Twitter handle to share the new ad. However, the ad couldn’t please the fans as they found it completely bizarre.
Here’s the video:
The video caught the attention of several international cricketers as well. While English quick Stuart Broad suggested that ‘Jos Buttler’ and ‘Ben Stokes’ could have been better ambassadors, Fox Cricket also shared the video, reckoning a ‘new career for Virat after retirement’.Watch me and @RishabPant777 team up with @HimalayaMEN to take care of the one problem that keeps coming back. I genuinely believe @josbuttler & @benstokes38 would be excellent ambassadors for this brand. Please contact @phoenixmg3. 👍
