WATCH: Jos Buttler 'salutes' Sheldon Cottrell after hitting him a massive six

With a broad smile on his face, the English stumper saluted the bowler, paying it back what they received in the 2nd ODI.

English wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler caused a typhoon with the bat against West Indies in the 4th ODI at Grenada on Wednesday. Entertaining the crowd with some massive fireworks, he brought up his highest ODI score of 150 with 12 sixes and 13 fours. During his dream outing, Buttler was well supported from captain Eoin Morgan who also played a 103-run knock.

The duo stitched a colossal 204-run stand which took England to their third-highest ODI total with 154 runs coming in the final 10 overs. However, the incident which caught everyone’s attention was Buttler sending a ball from Sheldon Cottrell beyond the fence and responding with the bowler's trademark salute.

The incident happened during the 49th over when Sheldon Cottrell bowled a lower full-toss which Buttler picked perfectly, clobbering it over deep mid-wicket for his 10th six. With a broad smile on his face, the English stumper saluted the bowler, paying it back what they received in the 2nd ODI.

Here’s the video:

England ended up scoring 418 runs and in reply, the home side were set on course by a rampaging 162 off 97 balls by veteran opener Chris Gayle.

They remained in the hunt until the 48th over when leg-spinner Rashid, who had taken a fearful hammering in his first four overs, broke an 88-run seventh-wicket partnership between Carlos Brathwaite and Ashley Nurse.

He then scythed through the tail – taking the last three wickets in the next four balls – to finish with figures of five for 85 off his allotted ten overs.
