Virat Kohli dismisses rumours of engagement with Anushka Sharma

New Delhi: The internet was flooded with speculations that India Test skipper Virat Kohli getting engaged to his long time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in Dehradun on January 1.

However, India Test Skipper Virat Kohli has shunned any such rumour calling in untrue. 

The 28-year-old wrote on his Twitter account,” we aren't getting engaged & if we were going to,we wouldn't hide it. Simple

“Since news channels can’t resist selling false rumours & keeping you confused, we are just ending the confusion.”

Earlier, Yash Raj Films spokesperson had outrightly denied the news claiming that they are not getting engaged.

“No, the reports of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli’s engagement is just not true and there are no such plans of the duo to our knowledge.” Said YRF spokesperson

The couple was pictured vacationing in Uttarakhand with their families which fueled the rumours of the celebrity couple getting engaged on New Year’s eve.
