India Vs Sri Lanka T20I Series: Sri Lanka Cricket, on Tuesday, July 23, have officially announced their squad for the upcoming 3-match T20I series against India, and the team undergo fresh leadership, after Wanindu Hasaranga announced his decision to step down as the skipper of the side earlier this month.
Charith Asalanka has been appointed as the new captain of Sri Lanka in T20I's and the batting all-rounder does have momentum at his side, as he guided Jaffna Kings to their fourth Lanka Premier League title on Sunday.

"The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee selected the below-given 16-member squad to play in the T20I series during the India Tour of Sri Lanka 2024. The Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando, approved the squad. The T20I games will be played on the 27th, 28th, and 30th July at the PICS, Pallekele," said Sri Lanka cricket in a released statement.

Sri Lanka have made some bold decisions in thier squad, as their T20 World Cup 2024 ended in a disastrous manner.
