Masood Scores Test 100 For Pakistan After 1524 Days

Masood's last Test century came 1524 days ago in 2020, where he scored an impressive 156 against England in Manchester. Since then, Masood has experienced a turbulent phase, marked by stints in and out of the national team, before ultimately stepping up to the added responsibility of captaincy.

This hundred by Masood came as a respite for the Pakistan team, especially after being clean-swept by Bangladesh at home not too long ago.

At Tea on Day 1 of the PAK vs ENG Multan Test, Pakistan stood at 233-1 in 52 overs with Masood batting at an unbeaten 130 and Abdullah Shafique at an unbeaten 94.

Pakistan and England will lock horns for two more Tests after the ongoing Test as the second PAK vs ENG Test will also be played in Multan before the teams travel to play the third Test in Rawalpindi.
