Apart from scoring 39* off 22, he scalped 1 for 13 in his bowling spell. St Lucia Kings first restricted Guyana Amazon Warriors to 138/8 before chasing down the target with 11 balls to spare.
Other than Chase, Aaron Jones was the best batter for the CPL-winning side in the final as he scored 48 off 31 to ensure that it was a pressure-free chase. Jones smashed 4 sixes in the innings, the most by a batter in the St Lucia Kings innings while Chase hit two sixes.

The only other batter to hit a six for the winning team was captain Faf du Plessis who could only muster 7 runs in his innings.
