Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni are two of the finest captains in India. Apart from their success in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the two are among the rare Indian leaders to have won an ICC title. While Dhoni remains the only captain in the world to have won all the three white-ball ICC titles, Rohit too led India to the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 triumph.

Apart from their success with the national team, both are tied at 5 each as far as IPL trophies as a captain are concerned. It is not easy to choose between the two especially for someone like Shivam Dube who has played under both. However, Dube found a way to not take any sides.

"When I am playing for Chennai, MS Dhoni is the best, when I am playing for India, Rohit Sharma is the best," Shivam Dube said when host Kapil Sharma asked him to choose which captain he likes better on The Great Indian Kapil Show.

We Were All Freaking Out When SA Needed 30 To Win Off 30 In T20 WC Final: Rohit

Meanwhile, Rohit revealed that they were all tensed when South Africa seemed to be running away with the match with  30 to win from 30 balls in the summit clash with 6 wickets in hand.

"They had wickets in plenty and a settled batter on the field. We were all tense, freaking out. But at that moment, a captain has to show a strong front for the whole team, signaling that there is no need to panic," Rohit said.

"Anything could have happened on that wicket. When we were batting, we lost wickets, then made a partnership, and later lost wickets again. We expected the same could happen to them as their batting lineup ended at the seventh position. We had to take a wicket at any cost since Klaasen and Miller were playing," he added.
