Promoting the message of peace and love, Indian cricket fraternity on Saturday took to social media to wish their loved ones and fans on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid). Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane were some of the cricketers to lead the wishes along with other sports personalities.

"Wishing a very joyous Eid Al Adha to those celebrating! Let's celebrate this day by spreading love and happiness. #EidMubarak," tweeted skipper Virat Kohli.


Team India's Test deputy skipper Ajinkya Rahane tweeted: "Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous Eid!#EidAlAdha"


Limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma said: "Eid Mubarak!! Best wishes for a joyful #EidAlAdha to all celebrating. Have a good one."


"#EidMubarak! Here's wishing everyone a happy and joyous #EidAlAdha," said coach Ravi Shastri.


"May Allah give you all the prosperity and success. May Allah bless you with wealth and happiness and give you a healthy life. Eid al-Adha Mubarak.#EId," said fast bowler Mohammed Shami.


Test opener Mayank Agarwal said: "Eid Mubarak! Wishing you love, warmth, and happiness in life!"


Irfan Pathan tweeted a photo of him with brother Yusuf and their father. "May we all sacrifice our ego this Eid.sabhi ko pathan family ke taraf Eid Mubarak #EidMubarak," he said.
