'Ye Pagalpanti Nahi Karte Hum': Rohit Sharma's Response To Reporter At Asia Cup Press Conference Goes Viral- WATCH
Asia Cup 2023: Rohit Sharma answered a question posed to him in his own distinct style at the press conference in New Delhi.
The biggest talking point in the Indian cricket circuit on Monday (August 21) has been India's squad announcement for Asia Cup 2023. Team India announced a 17-member squad for the continental event set to be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka with India's matches scheduled in the island nation alone. Post the squad announcement, both the chief selector of the national men's team as well as the India captain Rohit Sharma were bombarded with questions. While both gave responses to the questions which were put in front of them, Rohit gave away a hilarious response to a reporter asking him about his take on the side being flexible in their batting order.
Notably, while Rohit had said that the batters have been asked to be flexible in their batting order when asked for clarification he said that the openers would not suddenly be asked to bat at number 8. He then hilariously said "Ye Pagalpanti Nahi Karte Hum" which loosely translates to "We don't do such crazy things."
Have a look Rohit's response to the journalist here:
