It has been close to four days since India beat South Africa in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 final at the Kensington Oval Stadium in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday (June 29). However, the victorious team has not been able to return home due to a huricane delay. And now with the World Champions Team India on their way back home, captain Rohit Sharma's message for his countrymen who waited 11 years for a world title has gone viral.

Taking to social media, the title-winning captain who has announced his retirement from the format along with star batter Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, wrote: "We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00pm onwards. It’s coming home ❤️🏆."
