Rishabh Pant made a stunning comeback to Test cricket in the India vs Bangladesh 1st Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While he scored 39 with the bat in the first innings, he proved his utility behind the stumps in Bangladesh's first innings before scoring a hundred in the second innings. Pant got to his his sixth Test match hundred in what was his first Test match ever since he suffered a near-fatal car crash in December 2022.
Not only was Pant's 109 a knock that entertained the fans but being the character that he is, the left-handed batter did not leave any opportunity to enjoy himself in the middle. In a viral video from his innings, Pant can be seen reminding the bowler that one fielder should be placed inside the circle on the leg side. The Delhi Capitals (DC) star pointed out to the opposition where the fielder should be and the bowler also seemingly obliged, leaving the commentators in splits.
