Indian Team Meets PM Modi: The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi for a congratulatory meet and breakfast on July 4 (Thursday). PM Modi congratulated the T20 World Cup-winning team during the hour-long meeting. This was after the Indian cricket team arrived in India on an Air India chartered flight from Barbados after Hurricane Beryl disrupted their original schedule, according to which, they were to arrive back home earlier.
The team arrived at No. 7, Lok Kalyan Marg at around 11 AM IST on July 4, having departed from ITC Maurya Hotel after receiving a warm reception. At the hotel, Rahul Dravid, Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli were also seen cutting a special cake prepared by the hotel chef.

In a video uploaded by ANI on their official X handle, PM Modi and the Indian cricket team players can be seen sharing laughs while probably talking about their World Cup campaign. Head coach Rahul Dravid, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya also spoke during the meeting. PM Modi appeared to enjoy the meeting with the players, smiling throughout the video.
