Indian cricket team, after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, has returned home to India following unforeseen delays due to Hurricane Beryl in Barbados. The Men in Blue flew back on a chartered Air India flight and landed in Delhi early morning on July 4. Amidst all the excitement surrounding the Indian team’s reception at the Delhi Airport and then their scheduled meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi later on the day, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a heartwarming video of the Indian team travelling by air with the T20 World Cup trophy.

Upon arrival at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday, the official BCCI X (formerly known as Twitter) handle shared a special video documenting the team's journey with the T20 World Cup trophy. The footage captures players bringing the trophy back from Barbados, with Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma and others celebrating with poses and photos. The video quickly went viral moments after it was uploaded, capturing widespread attention as it captures the emotions of the Indian team and fans following the end of their 11-year wait for a World Championship title.
