Hassan Ali Not Picked In Pakistan Squad For T20 World Cup 2024

On the cricketing front, Hassan Ali was not picked in Pakistan squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. While the 29-year-old did feature in Pakistan's T20I series against Ireland and New Zealand, his performances could not convince the selectors that he should be on the flight to the United States of America (USA) which is co-hosting the competition along with the Caribbean Islands.

Having been overlooked for a place in the T20 World Cup side of Pakistan, Hassan is using this time to play for Warwickshire Bears in the ongoing Vitality Blast in England. He has taken 9 wickets in 4 matches at an average of 13.77.
