'Main Kya Karu, Job Chod Du': Ravichandran Ashwin Shares Pic Of Cheteshwar Pujara Bowling; Batter Responds

Ashwin and Pujara were involved in a hilarious banter on social media post the fourth IND vs AUS Test match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Veteran India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara engaged in a bit of a banter after Team India's fourth and final Test match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ended in a draw. With India pushing for a win on the final day of the Test match and not much from the wicket for the bowlers, the second innings with the ball for the Men in Blue saw even Cheteshwar Pujara bowl an over of spin.

Sharing a picture of Pujara rolling his arms over, Ashwin shared a cheeky comment writing: "Main Kya Karun? Job Chod Du?" which loosely translates to "What should I do? Quit My Job?." However, Pujara too was quick to respond to the Ashwin's remark. "Nahi. This was just to say thank you for going 1 down in Nagpur 😂," he said referring to the spinner walking in as night watchman in the series opener of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Ashwin then came up with another response. "Your intent is appreciated but wonder how this is a payback😂😂," he tweeted.

Check out the hilarious banter between the two here:

Talking about the match, even Shubman Gill bowled 1.1 overs after which it was mutually decided that the match should end in a draw, implying India clinch the series 2-1. However, with New Zealand beating Sri Lanka by 2 wickets, India sealed a place for themselves at the World Test Championship (WTC) final where they will yet again face-off Australia at the Oval in London. The titlar contest is set to commence on June 7.

For now, the team's focus will be on their next international assignment which is the home ODI series against Australia.
