Kuldeep Yadav stunned the entire England batting line-up during the first T20I played in Manchester on July 3. The Indian wrist-spinner spun a web which trapped the English batters one after another, making him clinch five wickets and become the first left-arm Chinaman bowler to reach this feat.
However, in the second face-off in Cardiff, the situations took a sharp turn and Kuldeep was hit brutally. Especially, Alex hales and Jonny Bairstow, who picked up the line perfectly and sent the ball out of the park. As a result, India lost the game by 5 wickets and Kuldeep remained wicket-less.
But soon after the match, the left-arm spinner got a perfect treatment from MS Dhoni at the team hotel. The incident happened when the former Indian skipper cut his birthday cake after returning to their stay. While Kuldeep tried to smear Dhoni’s face with cake, he received a hit back too.
Later, Dhoni took to his Instagram profile to share the video of the celebration.
Here’s the video:
Poor Kuldeep! Probably he learned the lesson and will hit back when India take on England in the series decider on Sunday in Bristol.
