Jay Shah Gives 'Golden Ticket' To Sachin Tendulkar For World Cup
Sachin was a part of the Indian team that won the World Cup back in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
Ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, Jay Shah, the BCCI Secretary has presented the Golden Ticket to the God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar. The ICC World Cup 2023 is slated to take place in India from October 5 where a total of ten teams will feature across 10 venues from October 5 to November 19. The event will witness 48 matches to be played across 46 days.
The BCCI posted a picture where Jay Shah was spotted giving 'Golden Ticket to Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin was a part of the Indian team that won the World Cup back in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Tendulkar has scored the most runs in the one-day International format, collecting 18,426 runs in 463 matches. He also has the feat of making most runs in World Cup tournaments. In 45 matches, he amassed 2,278 runs, featuring in six World Cups. Sachin has made these runs with an outstanding average of 56.95 with six centuries and 15 fifties. His best score in the tournament is 152. The former India player has also won two Golden Bat awards in ICC Cricket World Cups.
Jay Shah had also given this special 'Golden Ticket' to the Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday. BCCI posted a picture on X formerly known as Twitter where they thanked Big B for his constant support to Team India.
