Preity Zinta Responds To Fan's Special Request, Describes Rohit Sharma In 'One Word'

When asked by a fan to describe Rohit Sharma, Preity Zinta referred to the Mumbai Indians and Team India star as "A powerhouse of talent."

Rohit Sharma has not been at his best in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), nor has been his team, Mumbai Indians (MI). MI find themselves at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table having won just three games out of the 11 that they have played. Despite facing challenging times, Rohit Sharma has garnered significant praise from Bollywood star Preity Zinta, who is also the co-owner of Punjab Kings.

Asked by a fan to comment on Rohit Sharma in one word on the social media platform of X (formerly Twitter), Preity Zinta replied, ‘A powerhouse of talent.’ Her reply quickly went viral garnering thousands of likes and reactions.

Here's Preity Zinta's Comment On Rohit Sharma

Rohit, who is set to captain the Indian team in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, holds the distinction of being the only batter to achieve three ODI double-centuries and has five Indian Premier League titles as captain, joint-most along with MS Dhoni of Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Tough Season For Mumbai Indians In IPL 2024

With only 3 wins in 11 matches, Mumbai Indians find themselves at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table, leaving them with only one direction to go - upwards - as they prepare to face Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. Given their disappointing campaign thus far, it appears highly unlikely for Hardik Pandya's team to turn things around, having suffered defeats in 8 out of 11 matches.

Mumbai Indians have struggled to deliver consistent performances, often faltering in all aspects of the game. Currently holding six points from 11 matches, Mumbai Indians will aim to win their remaining three matches to salvage their pride, even if other results do not favor them in reaching the playoffs. Moreover, Mumbai Indians' new captain, Hardik Pandya, has also been in the firing line as he has not been able to lead the side well.
