Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Capitals (DC) will square off against Virat Kohli-hemmed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Match 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) at the Dubai International cricket stadium in Dubai (UAE) later on Monday evening.

Both Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have got off to a good start in the ongoing IPL season 13 with three wins each from their four previous encounters.

Both teams come into the encounter high on confidence after registering resounding wins in their previous games. While the Virat Kohli-led RCB side trounced Rajasthan Royal (RR) by eight wickets, the Shreyas Iyer-captained DC defeated KKR by 18 runs in their last league encounter.

It could be a high scoring affair on a good batting track at Dubai as the power packed batting lineups of both teams are finally getting some semblance.

Delhi Capitals would be delighted by the performance of their skipper Shreyas Iyer who scored a whirlwind 38-ball 83 in their commanding win against Rajasthan Royals. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have been in good touch with the willow in the opening two weeks.

DC have the firepower to explode in the latter half of the innings with power hitters in Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis and Shimron Hetmyer.

The DC bowling unit is gelling well as a unit with seamers Kagiso Rabada and Proteas compatriot Anrich Nortje picking up wickets and choking the opposition in the death overs too.

The DC spin armoury has lot of options with ace off spinner Ravichandra Ashwin, leggie Amit Mishra and spin all-rounder Axar Patel.

RCB will be more than delighted to have their skipper Virat Kohli getting runs under his belt against after a lacklusture start to the tournament. Meanwhile, rest of the batting has impressed with young Devdutt Padikkal and Australian opener Aaron Finch providing the opening salvo up the order. AB De Villiers has produced a couple of whirlwind innings in the middle order and will look to provide the impetus against DC later in the evening.

RCB has bolstered their batting with all-rounders Shivam Dube and Gurkeerat Singh, who can chip in with meaningful runs down the order

RCB spinners have a potent spin attack with ace spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal, Washinton Sundar and Adam Zampa in their bowling armoury.

After leaving out speedsters Dale Steyn and Umesh Yadav, RCB seam attack has been more economical with Lankan seamer Isuru Udana playing the perfect foil to tearaway speedster Navdeep Saini.
