Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) trounced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 8 wickets and inched closer to a play-off berth in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) at Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
It was a splendid bowling performance by the RCB bowling to restrict KKR to paltry 84-8 total and then chase down the below par 85-run target in fourteen overs to clinch a dominant win.
While RCB seamer Mohammad Siraj bowled a match winning spell, taking 3 wickets for just 8 runs in his four overs, skipper Virat Kohli attained yet another milestone in his IPL career. Kohli remained unbeaten on 18 with Gurkeerat Mann to see his team finish across the winning line.
